Wyoming County Schools will be on a 3-hour delay tomorrow, Wednesday, February 1, 2023.


Due to the forecast of morning ice and the issued Winter Weather Advisory, Wyoming County Schools will be on a 3-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

Evening Runs:
Bus 186 will not be running this evening!
Bus 211 Amy will be bringing those students home!
Students towards the county line may be 15-20 minutes late!

Ms. Brittany’s preschool at Road Branch has been studying snow, ice, and arctic animals this month. Today they did a fine motor and sensory activity using droppers and warm water to melt the ice and find the arctic animals inside.🧊❄️🐻❄️

Road Branch Elementary and Middle School.
Bus 186 will not be running the morning or evening runs.
AM Runs:
Westside High School.
Bus 211 will pick up students in main creek first then towards the county line.
Road Branch Elementary and Middle.
Bus 211 will begin at the Fire Department at 7:10, the to the Logan County line, then pick up students in main Huff Creek.
Students from the Fire Department towards the County Line will be around 10-15 minutes early!
PM Runs:
Bus 211 Amy will be bringing those students home!
Students towards the county line may be 15-20 minutes late!

Wyoming County Schools will be having a scheduled Professional Learning Day on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
Baileysville Elementary & Middle School, Pineville Elementary School, and Pineville Middle School will have additional Professional Learning Days on Tuesday, January 10, and Thursday, January 12, 2023. Students attending these three schools will not have school on January 10, January 11, and January 12, 2023.
Teachers will provide assignments for students to complete from home on January 10 and January 12, 2023.
ALL Wyoming County Schools will participate in a Professional Learning Day on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

Road Branch Elementary and Middle School.
Due to a tree down on Huff Mountain the road is closed.
The buses with Westside students are safe and on the bus stuck in the traffic. Those students may be up to 1hr late getting home!
The road may be closed up to an hour.
Road Branch parents may want to pick their students up from school if possible!
Once traffic is free the buses will pick up the remaining students to deliver home.
