100% of all contributions go directly to books and classroom needs

Your student will also be bringing home a printed Treasure Map—this is their ticket to joining the fun, earning books, and unlocking some great prizes. It's simple, exciting, and encourages reading at home.

November School Calendar

No Pre-K on Friday, October 24th, to allow for teachers’ scheduled planning day.

Mr. Acord's third grade students get hands on! They recently completed activities to review expanded form, word form, standard form and how to round numbers!

Cyclone Volunteer Fire Department members recently came to speak to our students about fire safety. October is Fire Safety month. Thank you, Cyclone Volunteer Fire Department, for helping keep our kids safe!

October School and Sports Calendars

Attention Westside High School and Feeder Schools- The WHS Homecoming Parade is scheduled for Thursday, October 2 at 5:30pm. To encourage and promote community participation, ALL Westside students and feeder schools will have a 3- hour early dismissal on Thursday, October 2. This includes- Road Branch Elementary & Middle, Glen Fork Elementary & Middle, Baileysville Elementary & Middle, Huff Consolidated, Berlin McKinney Elementary, Oceana Middle, and Westside High school. If you have questions, contact your child’s school.

Due to a recent clarification regarding state policy, we will not be able to use our previously planned staggered start. All K-12 Students will begin on August 22.  We apologize for the short notice and truly appreciate your understanding as we ensure compliance with state guidelines on the requirement of 180 school days. 🏀 History in the Making! 🏀 In order to provide our students with the opportunity to experience a historic moment in Charleston, we will not have school tomorrow, March 20, 2025, as we take pep buses to support our athletes on this incredible journey! Thanks to the incredible support of our community and the passage of the excess levy, pep buses are FREE for students! Let’s pack the stands and show our unwavering support! Let’s show up, be loud, and make this an unforgettable experience!

Wyoming County Schools will operate on a 3 hour delay on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Safe travels back and forth to support this historical time for Wyoming County! Cheer loud and proud for our student athletes!
